DALE ANDERSON

Taken from: www.myspace.com/djdaleanderson His DJ work has taken him to North America, South America, Europe, UK, Asia and beyond, and his artist album 'Roadhouse' with one of the planet's most credible dance music labels - Global Underground - will no doubt see Dale continue to bring his sound to dance floors around the world. To date, Dale has been fortunate enough to play with many of the world's finest at infamous club nights such as Ministry of Sound, Slinky, Renaissance, and The Gallery. Having shared the bill with Carl Cox, Pete Tong, Nic Fanciulli, Pete Heller and James Holden to name a few, Dale's skill and sound is defined by his versatility. Dale is now also part of the Global Underground World Tours roster run in conjunction with Ministry of Sound. On the production front, 2009 sees the release of Dale's highly anticipated artist album 'Roadhouse on Global Underground (in collaboration with Anil Chawla). The album received rave reviews from IDJ, DJ Mag, M8, Progressive Sounds and many others, citing a diverse blend of music across the full spectrum of electronica. 2008's No Idea on Urban Torque had massive support from all the top jocks - Nick Warren, Laurent Garnier, Desyn Masiello, Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West) and many others. Last year saw the release of one of Dale's biggest track to date 'Leftorium' (in collaboration with Anil Chawla) on Global Underground. The track featured on GU Afterhours III, and not only reached the top 5 on Beatport, but was also the best selling deep house track of 2007, and remained in the top 100 for more than four months. Further to this, Dale was nominated for 'Best Artist' award of 2007 on Beatport., and with support from the likes of Roger Sanchez and Hernan Cattaneo, it's easy to see why. Dale's other production credits include 2005's massive 'Drift Away' (which Paul Van Dyk announced on his radio show as one of his 'tracks of the year') under Dale's Keenan & Anderson moniker (collaborations with Navigation Records boss Stewart Keenan), and it's 2007 follow up 'Runaway' which got a good hammering by Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Tiësto and the Flash Bros. Further tracks such as 'Makes Me Feel' (as featured on Nic Fanciulli's Renaissance) and 'Disco Stew' have become dance-floor favourites with support from the likes of John Digweed and Max Graham, and last year's 'The More I Know' found a home in the record boxes of Sasha and Nick Warren amongst many others. Add to this, official remixes for Hybrid, Richard Dinsdale, Adam Freeland, and Tall Paul (which garnered much attention and Radio 1 plays from Pete Tong), plus more than ten compilation signings to Global Underground, Renaissance and Armada, and there really is no doubt that things are set to get bigger and better. | |
