Following on from a successful 2009 in which the first Future Disco compilation was named iTunes Dance Album of the Year, Future Disco are back with their third installment in the series entitled City Heat. Since that initial critically acclaimed release, things really have gone boom with a subsequent second album released to mass approval and a radio show to boot. Furthermore, Future Disco have been flying their disco wings worldwide starting with an exclusive residency at London's Ministry of Sound. The wings have now spread further afield with residencies in Holland, Denmark, Dubai, Singapore and the clubbing mecca that is Ibiza, with a residency at Carl Cox's night at Space.

City Heat, along with the two previous Future Disco editions, is compiled and mixed by UK based Sean Brosnan, founder of Needwant. Drop Out Orchestra gently ease you into the cd with their mellow Macaque followed by the groovy Baby Can't Stop by Lindstrom & Christabelle. By this time we're already in The Deep End, courtesy of Curses! Next up is the funky Just Be Good To Me by The Revenge after which the temperature really heats up with Ilija Rudman's sweet and sultry Call Me Tonight. Crazy P's Never Gonna Reach Me is sizzling and striking subsequent to which is Nick Chacona's captivating and cool The Fear. Todd Terje's blissful Balearic beats take over with the delightful Eurodans.

Chamboche's Feverish raises the temperature further followed by the driving jammer Jam Hot by Johnny Denell. Now then we find ourselves in Moscow with the hard-hitting Throw Up after which comes Bonar Bradberry's fruity and quirky Carlos the Jackal quickly followed by the jacking, rocking Sat Jam by Sean Brosnan. Ray Mang's ravishing Look Into My Eyes is simple yet poignant and then Bot'Ox's Blue Steel tenderly brings down the tempo with her dulcet tones. After all the hot stuff beforehand its time to cool and chill things down at the finish line with the ethereal, uplifting and magical Mandass Morran Bus by Magnus International.

Overall this is a cracking compilation jam packed full of the finest Nu Disco tracks out there at the moment. Sean's selections are smooth and sexy and the transitions silky. This is the perfect accompaniment for the scorching sunny summer days and nights to come.
