Technasia, aka Charles Siegling, is back with his first single taken from the forthcoming studio album Central (out end of May). Originally Technasia was a duo formed in 1996 consisting of Paris based Siegling and Hong Kong based Amil Khan. In 2008, Khan left to focus on his family leaving Siegling to focus on further productions under the Technasia moniker.

Central (named after a metro station on Hong Kong Island) is Technasia's first full-length album in four years. Esperance and Innocuous Clouds both feature on the long player.

Up first on the A side is title track Esperance. This is classic Technasia stuff. Driving, euphoric and groovy coupled with a powerfully penetrating chord progression, Esperance leaves an imprint on your mind and on the dance-floor.

On the flip side we find Innocuous Clouds which takes things in a deeper, dirtier and more robust direction. Hypnotizing horn stabs, a sizzling synth line and filtered beats make Innocuous Clouds more menacing than its name suggests.

Esperance is a good EP with two top tracks that will work well on both house and techno dance-floors across the globe. All in all this a tasty slice of what is to come with Technasia's Central serving later this month.
