And since it is modular, you can personally decide where your (cross) faders, keyboards, strings, knobs, buttons and other elements should go, with an object library that is under continuous development.

Moreover, midi-cables and restrictions are also a problem from the past. Communication takes place through a common LAN interface, or a hub, if you and your friends can afford several Lemurs. The protocol is Open Sound Control, which is far more reliable, efficient and convenient compared to the MIDI standard, which is showing its age after 22 years of market dominance.
