' By combining these genres, we've now taken the premier street racing simulation brand in the industry to an unstoppable new level.'

The new Need For Speed computer game entitled NFS Carbon comes with a remarkable soundtrack. The racing game, to be released early November, is stuffed with an amazing amount of hot tracks by international both underground chart toppers and mainstream masterminds such as Tiga, Goldfrapp, Vitalic and even Pharrell Williams, providing the game with an extra dimension.

The soundtrack of the game resembles the three types of cars in this game: tuners, exotics and muscle cars.
The Japanese tuner cars hit the streets with dirty Electro, the exotics kick in Ghetto-style with banging Hip-Hop and Grime, while the muscle cars terrorize the streets with heavy Rock music.

“We've spent close to a year working with artists and labels from around the world to ensure that not only does the music capture the true hardcore styles of the sport, it also pushes it forward with breakthrough new artists” says EA's Steve Schnur. “By combining these genres, we've now taken the premier street racing simulation brand in the industry to an unstoppable new level.”

Music has always seems to be of lesser importance to the audio-support of computer games, with only the occassional filmic sound-scapes and cheesy bleeps being overwhelmed by the games' sound effects.
EA considers music to be one of the main factors of a computer game, as the NFS series have been stuffed with stunning audio to date. The latest edition can be seen as a small revolution in the industry, delivering a game that is jam-packed with the hottest tunes and hits by world-famous artists.

but EA has taken the time to provide their games with quality audio support, which has resulted in a series of both visually stunning as bass-driven racing experiences
