Robbie Williams has turned to a dance production team to deliver a slamming version of his new single, entitled Lovelight. The track has been radically transformed by Belgian duo Soulwax, who also go under the guise of 2 Many DJs. Williams, like Madonna, seemingly wants to enjoy success in the clubs with his latest offering, before making it onto daytime radio and ultimately into the charts.

As a quick background, Soulwax are an electro/rock production team hailing from Gent, Belgium. The album Any Minute Now spawned three singles in E Talking, NY Excuse and the title track. 2004 electro-rock anthem E Talking was supported heavily by the likes of X-Press 2 and Pete Tong. The duo have also produced a number of official and unofficial remixes, including Daft Punk Is Playing At My House by LCD Soundsystem, Robot Rock (song) by Daft Punk and Dare by Gorillaz. Last year's album Nite Versions is a collection of remixes of tracks from the Any Minute Now LP

Soulwax's Stephen Dewaele said. "I can honestly say that I feel this is the best remix we've ever done. Robbie Williams loved the work we did with E Talking and wanted our help with his dance-oriented new album due out this fall."

The track is expected to follow in the footsteps of the Rudebox remixes turned in by Soul Mekanik, which received DJ support from Pete Tong and other top jocks for a unique interpretation of the British pop star's single.

A vocal and dub version will be included on the Lovelight maxi single, scheduled for release on November 13.
