'Michel de Hey's original version of Snert has been one of the biggest techno hits of this summer. '

German DJ Paul Kalkbrenner and Frechman Djinxx have remixed Michel de Hey's monster tune Snert for the de Hey's own Hey! imprint.

The vinyl release, officialy entitled Hey! 007, contains a minimal-esque rework by Kalkbrenner on the A-side, and a tech-house re-interpretation by Djinxx on the flip-side. Michel de Hey's original version of Snert has been one of the biggest techno hits of this summer.

Originally being released on Michel's own Hey! imprint last May, the tune almost instantly became an international floor filler seeing the support of artists such as Loco Dice, Josh Wink and Laurent Garnier. Snert is also included on the chart topper Recorded In Rotterdam, a mix-compilation by Michel de Hey that has been awarded by Mixmag as compilation of the month.

Paul Kalkbrenner is one of the most in demand live acts of this moment, with a plethora of appearances during this year's summer festivals with a solid mix of techno and house. His output as a producer includes several tracks on labels such as Bpitch Control and Hey! Hailing from France, Djinxx has developed himself into a highly talented electronic artist and international DJ over the years, with releases on some of the world's best imprints such as Cocoon and Garnier's F-Com record outlet.

Track-list Snert (Hey! 007)
