After Robbie Williams, who got a remix from Dutch Drum and Bass collective Noisia, Justin Timberlake is the next superstar in line to request a Dutch remix. Earlier we noted that the number of Dutch tracks in international charts is on the rise. While Mason is in the UK charts, Fedde Le Grand's Put Your Hands Up For Detroit was remixed by Eminem's D12 posse, and is likely to be a hit even in the US.

Further evidence for the return of the Dutch comes from Justin Timberlake, who has just asked Tom Holkenborg, aka Junkie XL, to deliver a remix of his What Comes Around track, from his latest Futuresex/Lovesounds album. As Timbaland has produced the album, the request is not completely surprising, as both Junkie XL and Timbaland have a great deal of respect for each other's work. Says Tom: 'We both strive to make cutting edge music that makes a difference, or at least has a fresh dimension to it'.

Holkenborg, certainly no stranger to remixing, has completed remixes for legendary bands such as Coldplay, The Sex Pistols, The Scissor Sisters, and was the only one ever to lay his hands on Elvis in the past. He delivered his Today album last year, which received mixed reactions, and is now working on various soundtracks for computer games, and films, including the Dutch movie Blind, which debuted last week.
