LUKE FAIR NEXT UP IN BALANCE 11
| ||
|
'The mood of this mix will capture the sound of an entire night at a club, a full set from open to close.'- Luke Fair | Next up in the acclaimed Balance series is Canadian DJ and Producer Luke Fair, after the likes of James Holden, Paolo Mojo, and the excellent previous installment by Jimmy van M. Luke Fair has garnered quite a reputation over the last few years, with a host of new productions, and a mix album for John Digweed, who chose for Fair's music for its funk and groove. Known for his own cuts and re-edits, Fair displays a diverse style, that combines that minimalism of the likes of Robag Wruhme and Thomas Schumacher, with 16 Bit Lolita's progressive heritage and Alexander Kowalski and Humate's roots in techno. Says Luke himself: "The mood of this mix will capture the sound of an entire night at a club, a full set from open to close. Starting out with deep House, then playing funky House and Techno and continuing with melodic Progressive towards the end. Every track will be heavily edited to personalize the mix a bit more, with lots of layering to make the whole thing as colorful as possible" Expect the album to be released across April, starting in Australia and reaching Europe at the end of the month.
