(London, UK) - Ultra + is a party that's been going for a decade. That's a decade that's taken dance music from niche pastime to mainstream taste, then back again, but parties like Ultra+ remain, with its founder Ben Nott still putting together line-ups that would make any dance fan salivate: Danny Howells and Luciano Esse on the same bill? Check.

On Saturday 12th May, Ben Nott's bringing the party to Birmingham's Custard Factory. This party combines his own party, Ultra+, with leading Northern light Circus, the brainchild of Liverpool's own Yousef, to give us Ultra+ meets Circus, surely one of the best parties to hit the North of England this year.

As for the line-up, there's a three-hour set by superstar DJ Danny Howells, plus the magic touch of Yousef and Touché too, and Circus resident Lewis Boardman and that's only in the first room. The second room has Mr Nott playing himself, alongside Chris Turner and Dex Pistols, while the Balcony has Rowland Cooper, G-Tek, Tim Hill and Operate on duty, amongst others. All in all a good mix of big name talent and people you'll be hearing about in years to come…

But if this isn't quite your sort of sound and you like things a bit more minimal and electronic - perhaps a little dirtier - then you've got the Push Sound System rocking it poolside with Matt Tolfrey, Luciano Esse, Michael Hooker and Subb-An live too. Indeed, with the presence of stars like Danny Howells and Yousef and up-coming players like Matt Tolfrey and Luciano Esse, this is definitely proof that all the best summer line-ups don't happen in London (or Ibiza!)
