(Berlin, DE) - PLAYHOUSE, one of Germany's longest running electronic imprints has just dropped us a promo of their new FAMOUS WHEN DEAD series, which is celebrating its fifth installment in the series.

The compilations, designed with the impossible purpose to bundle some of this time's classics under its prestigious umbrella, has proven to offer at least some guidance of the more exquisite dance tracks of the moment. In fact, most tracks have either never been released before on CD, were remixed for the occasion, or are yet to be released. Moreover, the CD is unmixed, rendering it a relatively handy DJ tool; and besides who will be surprised by yet another mixed comp.

Among the featured numbers, are works form the likes of Isolee, My My who drop a very melodic cut to the comp, the ever funky Losoul, Dave DK, among a host of new talents. There is work from Roman Fluegel, SImon Baker, and good old Pete Lazonby, who scored a progressive hit back in the days with his Sacred Cycles on Hooj, and now returns with a stomping electro number.

To top things up, there are two tracks from Rework (get physical), who scored an underground hit with their Jogging beat, remixed by Roman Fluegel for the occasion, with their latest single Love Love Love Yeah also on the list.
