'The godfather of the Gigolo stable has always had an eye for releasing quality tracks first; a fine example being Justice Vs Simian's We Are Your Friends…'

(Berlin, DE) - It's been ten years since DJ Hell launched the Gigolo label, and introduced the world to the exotic sounds of the International Deejay Gigolos. The likes of Miss Kittin and The Hacker bought hordes of new fans into the world of dance music, but now Hell returns with International Deejay Gigolos Volume 10 - featuring the new acts who will carry the Gigolo banner forward into the electronic future.

International Deejay Gigolos Volume 10 contains 11 new artists (one for luck, it would seem), the cream of the European electronic underground; and DJ Hell's personal favourites. There's new acts like Berlin's Woody - whose August opens the 2CD collection in throbbing, upbeat style - Belgium's Arbotique with Chin Eater and Get Physical's DJ duo Voltique and the darkly melodic Supersmile. Hang on a second, Get Physical? Yes, this isn't just a label compilation, like all the Gigolo collections, it's Hell sketching out his musical vision, using whatever he likes best for the soundtrack. The godfather of the Gigolo stable has always had an eye for releasing quality tracks first; a fine example being Justice Vs Simian's We Are Your Friends (which has since been reworked by Erol etc and is now better known as Never Be Alone by Simian Mobile Disco).

However, it's not all new faces. Some classic collaborators include Mount Sims, whose Nailed To The Wall will find favour here, as will Jamie Anderson and Jesse Rose's re-rub of Steve Silk Hurley's Jack Your Body. And of course Hell gets involved in the collection himself, with his track Is Hell The One And Only Dominator? This is a remix of the classic 1991 hardcore track Dominator by Human Resource, complete with revving car sounds and twisted liquid funk licks.
