'That mixed-up music ethic is in full force here, as you might well expect…'

(London, UK) - Electric Gardens returns for its second year at Mount Ephraim Gardens on 4/5 August, with a weekend's worth of acts that appeal to everyone from indie kids to clubbers, and especially to those who refuse to see the difference.

Maidstone's Club Class and Lock & Load Events are the people behind Electric Gardens, and from the line-up, you can tell some very savvy people are in charge. Club Class is the Kent club that's got world class residents like Nic Fanciulli, Paul Woolford and Paulo Mojo and has gone from running nights at local venue "The Loft" to also boasting a residency at Ministry Of Sound. Meanwhile, Lock & Load Events run the Metro Weekender, namely Get Loaded In The Park, South West Four and Cardiff Calling - three events that mix dance acts with the best bands to create a whole experience for party-goers. That mixed-up music ethic is in full force here, as you might well expect…

Saturday 04 August has Supergrass, kings of UK indie, playing alongside Calvin Harris on the main stage, as well as recent UK chart-toppers Reverend & The Makers who'll ply the audience with their infection brand of electro-funk. And over on the Club Class dance stage, it's big boys Slam, the Stanton Warriors and Nic Fanciulli rocking it with Mike Pickering of Hacienda infamy bringing up the rear. New Young Pony club also get all indie-dance on the 2nd stage.

Sunday 05th August 2007 sees indie-dance's kings, Happy Mondays heading the line-up on the main stage, alongside The Rakes and The Young Knives. Over in the Club Class stage, though, it's all about Danny Howells (who'll be playing an 80s set), Damian Lazarus, Funk D'Void and Justin Robertson raving up a storm.
