(Amsterdam, NL) - No other than the 16 bit Lolita's will demo the latest new version of the acclaimed Ableton live audio production software during 365Mag's masterclass and producer network meeting in Amsterdam's Sugarfactory on January 19th.

Respected for their diverse sounds the world over, 16Bit's two members Ariaan Olieroock and Peter Kriek have inspired the likes of Sasha, Deep Dish among a host of others with their dance-floor fuel. They recently signed to Sasha's respected Excession booking agency, released on CR2, whilst being consistently featured as re-mixers, making numerous appearances on mixing comps around the globe. Just before leaving on a well-deserved holiday, they were willing to share some of their studio magic with our visitors.

The 16bits will use the software to do a quick edit/remix, after a basic introduction from Duotone's Auke Ferwerda. Apart from Ableton, Pioneer will launch its all new SVM 1000 video mixer, an event that coincides nicely with the launch of an all new DJ VJ label entitled Audio Illustrated, which is among the first DJ/VJ oriented DVD labels around the world.

The new SVM mixer completes Pioneer's visual offering for the moment, and signifies an important new step in DJ-land. Manipulating video is made easy and accessible; but fact is that not much content is available today. Audio Illustrated hence sets the scene for a whole range of more audio-visual oriented outlets, setting the tone for what is possibly the next step in the evolution of the 'traditional' DJ.
