(London, UK) - According to his website Sasha has asked Beatport to help him find some talented producers to remix his hit single Mongoose for his record label emFire. The remix competition is open to producers from all genres - Sasha's looking for innovative, cutting-edge and thought-provoking mixes of his track. The grand prize winner of the contest will have their remix released digitally on the emFire label and will receive a copy of Ableton Live 7. A runner-up will receive Ableton Live LE.

”I felt Mongoose would be a great track for any producer to remix” Sasha told Beatportal. “The sounds used in the production offer a wide range of creative opportunity, and I am excited to see what the Beatport community creates with them.” The limited white label will be available in select record stores on January 28th with the digital release out now.

COMPETITION RULES

1. Download the remix parts to 'Mongoose'. There are two free parts available, and also a premium package containing all 13 parts to 'Mongoose' for $3.99 USD.
2. Please note: Remix parts are available in MP3 and WAV, but there is very little difference in sound quality so Beatport highly recommends not downloading the WAVs.
3. Remix the track into your chosen style. All genres are welcome.
4. Send your remix as an MP3 to remixsasha@beatport.com. All entries must include full contact details, telephone number and postal address.
5. Competition closes February11th 2008.
6. One winner and two runners-up will be chosen by Sasha and announced on February 25th 2008.
7. The winning remix will be released on emFire.
8. Tracks using uncleared samples from sources outside of these 'Mongoose' parts will be disqualified.
9. All remixes submitted for this contest become the legal property of emFire records.
