'(…)it's one of the few the big clubs in town that breaks the new artists (Fabric's forward- thinking music policy)'

(London, UK) - It's all going off at Fabric this Sat 29th March. They're not letting you rest after the Easter Weekend, on, the Fabric crew bring down Ricardo Villalobos and new minimal face Akiko Kiyama, plus old school techno master Billy Nasty and I-F, Serge and Patrice Scott are wedged in too. Quality!

No one can say that Fabric doesn't keep its ear to the ground - that's why it's one of the few big clubs in town that breaks the new artists, paying them good money to come to London before half the scene knows who they are. Akiko Kiyama's looking likely to be a big example of this, a true minimalist whose sparse sound should delight fans of the genre in Room One, as she plays alongside the mighty Ricardo Villalobos… who will hopefully not be having one of his off nights. Still, the skilful Dyed Soundorom and the evergreen Craig Richards should keep the stripped-down sounds flying in Room One.

Over in Room Two, things get tougher with Billy Nasty, the man from Tortured Records and his newer label Electrix. Still though it's wrong to dismiss the Nasty one as merely a banging techno merchant - nowadays his sound is rich and varied, as a recent 'secret' release on Crosstown Rebels proved. Ressie Terry Francis and Crosstowns' own Matthew Styles keep it rocking in here too. Matthew in particular is always good, both here and in smaller venues like Public Life for Kubicle, or Dig Your Own Rave at T Bar, he's always got some of the best tunage going.

Finally, look out for the tiny Room Three, as the Netherlands Clone Records take over with Detroit newcomer Patrice Scott releasing his Atmospheric Emotions alongside electro innovator I-F (Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass) and Serge too. Definitely worth an end of the month session for…don't worry, it's payday soon.
