(London, UK) - Hercules & Love Affair are playing live at matter on Friday 28th November, in what's looking very much like the biggest gig of London's festive season! Hercules & Love Affair are what Scissor Sisters should have been - a live disco experience whose songs make you dance like your feet just caught fire, not some sad kitsch-overload act (Elton, really? Girl, please…) who only hairdressers like.

Here at 365Mag Towers, we reckon that the reason the Sisters became a parody of their earlier brilliance is that they got too much press too early, they became too fashionable and…well, nowadays we doubt even a certain big-spending wig-wearing crooner listens to them anymore.

Still, we couldn't resist telling you about this gig - because in matter's Room 1, everyone's actually going to have room to breathe (good thing) and dance (better thing). The Soho Revue Bar's all very well, but a band whose debut single, Blind - the Frankie Knuckles remix, natch - was all over every dance-floor in town earlier in the year deserves some extra space.
