(London, UK) - Coxy's been promising his fans this DVD for about two years, so it's great to report that it's finally in the can. Yes, from Monday 11^th May you too can find out what goes in life of one of techno's biggest names, in this expose of both his rocking gigs and his (occasional) quieter moments.

Superstar DJ friends like Josh Wink, Diggers and Fatboy Slim also pop up, as they pay tribute to Coxy's 25 years on the scene. Carl Cox 24/7 may have taken its own sweet time, but all the indications are that it has been worth the wait. This 'aint just your average gig DVD (though fans shouldn't panic, you get bonus footage of Coxy rocking matter's opening night), instead you get to find out more about Carl than you might expect - his is a high old life of travelling the world and rocking the house in enough clubs to make even the most eager clubber feel a bit jaded. But still, this is a side of clubland few of us will ever see.

For the real heads though, it all comes down to the music; and on this DVD, we see a glimpse of why Carl Cox is still number 1. All the tunes included here are by young producers, selected by Coxy as part of a competition to give the young guns some exposure. And that's why he's still at the top: he's still checking fresh talent - and still looking to give something back. Nice one Carl...
