(London, UK) - The techno godfather is coming to London to play at a special Eastern Electrics event on Saturday 11th July. This party, which in true old-school style is to be held in a secret location, sees him launch his new retrospective album, History Elevate, with not one but two performances over the course of the night. And as well as Mr Inner City himself, there's also Claude Von Stroke and Mike Shannon playing too...

Eastern Electrics started with some messy Bank Holiday and New Year events, but now they're spreading out with events around the year. And it doesn't get much bigger than arranging an album-launch party for one of the Belville Three, does it? This event features two sets from Kevin Saunderson: one DJ-set and one ultra-rare live show from Inner City, featuring two of the legendary project's original vocalists, Kevin's wife Ann Saunderson (who sang on Pennies From Heaven) and of course Paris Grey, the main 'voice' of the project. And with DJ sets from History Elevator collaborators Mike Shannon and Claude Von Stroke, plus skilled local lads Ben Gomori and Another Amit, it's sure to be a memorable occasion.

Kevin Saunderson's History Elevate album is a retrospective of his many years of music-making. The album, which is released on Monday 8^th June on KMS Records and Fabric Recordings, is meant as a fond look back to the days when Kevin produced under many different aliases: E-Dancer, Tronik House, The Reese Project, all of these and more have been the vehicles for his beats.
