On Thursday October 22nd, at this year's ADE, 365Mag presents a series of workshops and audiovisual jam-sessions including DJ/producer masterclasses by no one less than Francois K. and Ben Liebrand!

The workshop programme will start in the afternoon with SHARE: Audio Visual Playground: a concept in which many creative artists join forces for a real live jam-session. SHARE offers creative audiovisual minds the opportunity to show everyone with equal interests their raw sketches or complete audio and/or video projects. New ideas and collabs will be formed and eventually everyone will come together to put up a utterly innovating show. After this SHARE workshop, exclusively to these masterclasses, developers of Ableton's new MAX For LIFE software will give a presentation about their new product. MAX For LIFE is the talk of the town in producer land as it allows you to build your own plug-ins (which are used to add extra effects or add digital instruments for example). They even say, a good dance producer is as good as his best plug-in. And now it's possible to create your own! This workshop is a must for the advanced dance producer who works with Ableton Live 8.

After this Ableton workshop, no one else but Dutch mixmeister Ben Liebrand will allow us a peek into his mixing world. With a masterclass he will show us how he created and shaped his world famous remixes for artists such as Phil Collins, INXS and the Sugarhill Gang. Liebrand and his legendary Grand Mix compilations and mini-mixes have been an inspiring example for new DJ-stars such as Armin van Buuren and Speedy J.

To top these workshops off, world famous French/American Francois Kevorkian will show us around in his incredible world of music. We have every right to say that Francois K. is one of the most important and most influential DJ/producers in the world of disco, house and pop music. His biography is a long list of successful projects that most DJs, producers and musicians only can dream about. The 55-year old was already pioneering in the '70s with his work as a DJ in the New York underground scene in Paradise Garage, The Loft and Studio 54. With worldwide successful productions and remixes for acts such as Kraftwerk, U2, Diana Ross, Pet Shop Boys and Depeche Mode, we can truly speak about a legend. Up until today Francois K. is known for being a true electronic connoisseur, who has not only survived the era from disco to house, but he has also embraced the newest digital techniques throughout the years. This 55-year old uber-DJ will share all his experiences during this exclusive masterclass!
